ICHIBanzai'09 Update 10: No Art Competition, ICHIBanzai Escapade Rules and Regulations

Hello guys =DD

ICHIBanzai'09 is just about a week from now. I've begun to feel the thrill and excitement already =) How about you guys? XD Remember to keep your busy schedule FREE on the 6th and 7th of June 2009 to attend ICHIBanzai'09!! XD

Alright. Here's some updates:

First of all, I would like to clarify that there will be NO ART COMPETITION this year around. Do not confuse yourself with last year's post regarding art competition. The details were for last year's ICHIBanzai and not to be confused with this year's. Soooo sorry for those who work hard to finish their artwork and to send it to us. Worry not, your effort won't be in vain as we will give you some ICHIBanzai goodies =D

However, to those who are working on their artwork now, soooo sorry again but do halt all your progress for there won't be any art competition in this year's ICHIBanzai.

Alright. Now let's move on to the next agenda =)

I'm sure that for some of you who have been to last year's ICHIBanzai, you probably will remember that we had a live action game back in Level 7 of the KDU called the Fallen Academy. Well, this year, there won't be anymore haunted schools and zombie students but instead, we will have the ICHIBANZAI ESCAPADE!!

The ICHIBanzai Escapade is a parody of the famous Amazing Race reality game show. Yup. Your eyes ain't playing tricks on you. It IS a race. We will put in our own twist to the race and we ensure you, it will be a race like you never seen before =D

To keep it mysterious, I shall not reveal the exact gameplay of the race for now =D Instead, here's the rules and regulations:

ICHIbanzai'09 Update 09: PS3 Games Competition Rules and Regulations

Hello guys =DDD

For this year's ICHIBanzai'09, there will be a PS3 games competition that will be held on both days of the event. The 2 games featured in the competition are the Soul Calibur 4 and the Street Fighter 4.

ICHIbanzai'09 Update 08: Yukata Competition Rules and Regulations

Hello guys!! =D

ICHIBanzai'09 is just around the corner, and I hope you guys are as fired up for it as I do =)

This year around, ICHIBanzai'09 will feature the very first Yukata Dressing Competition. Instead of having only Cosplay Competition, this time there will be a Yukata Dressing Competition which caters to those that might be dressed in colorful yukata but however are unable to participate in Cosplay Competition due to no character background.

ICHIbanzai'09 Update 04: Karaoke Competition's Rules and Regulations

Sorry for the lack of updates in the blog for the past few days. But rest assured, the plannings for ICHIbanzai'09 is still on the way! XD

Now, for those with amusing voices out there, here's your chance to show everyone your talent! Yup, you're right! It's the KARAOKE COMPETITION!!! *claps*

Below are the rules and regulations for the karaoke competition:

1) There will be 2 round for this competition, Premier round and Final round. Contestants for Premier round will be 25-30 maximum, while only 10 contestants will be selected for the Final round.

2) Each contestant is required to choose maximum 2 songs from the title list provided. Group performances are not allowed.

3) If the contestants choose to repeat the same song, he/she are only allowed to sing maximum twice for each song. Songs which being chosen is unchangable once it's confirmed at the registration booth.

4) Contestants are allowed to bring their own chosen song which are not applied in the list below, but only karaoke/instrument version in MP3 format are allowed in the competition.

5) Contestants are required to apply their chosen song in CD copy at the registration counter before the competition starts. Afterwards, contestant will not be allowed to register their song in the competition.

6) Candidates who's absent while being called up during the competition will be disqualified. Candidates who's absent during the final round will be disqualified as well.

7) Maximum duration for each song allowed in the competition should not be more than 5 minutes. Song genres which are allowed in the competition can only be Anime/Games/J-Pop/J-Rock.

*** Note: During the competition, any instruments or extra equipments which the candidates brought up as part of their stage performances are allowed.

The karaoke song list is yet to be finalized, but I assure you that it will be up by this week. Even after it's up, the list will be updated regularly so do check out on it from time to time =D

The participation fees for the karaoke competition will be RM5.

ICHIbanzai'09 Update 03 - Cosplay Competition Rules and Regulations

Hello people =DD I'm sure that all of you are eager to know more about the cosplay competition right? =) Well, here it is!! XD

This year, there will be 3 different awards for the cosplay competition; the Best Cosplayer award, the Best Dressed award, and the People's Choice award. Similar to last year, the competition will be held on BOTH days, and the each of the awards will be given on both days as well.

Update 02: Booth Registration!

Hello people =D

The booth registration is officially open NOW!!! XD

Want to showcase your talented artworks? Want to display your vast collection of anime figurines? Wish to enlighten people with your magnificent delicacies?

Want and wish no more. Make it a reality!!

Open your booth at this year's ICHIbanzai'09 and witness your dreams and desires come true.

The fees for opening a booth is as follows:

One day: RM30
Two days: RM50

The measurement of the long white table for each booth is 30 inches X 60 inches. If you wish to have additional smaller tables, do let us know and we might be able to get you one. Contact us for more details on payment methods ^_^

Similar to last year, there will be three different categories of booths. Therefore, be sure to state which category you are under XD

1: Normal Booths (Game, cds, plushies, merchandises etc)
2: Doujinshi Booths
3: Food Booths
